FEATURE // Nicky Romero & ZROQ :: WTF!? [[Official Video Teaser]]

Easily this years most remarkable success story in the continually flourishing EDM community has to be the inexorable Dutch force that is Nicky Romero.  Since the dawn of 2012, the young phenomenon has not only unveiled an extensive and notable list of productions and remixes — including his collaborations with French icon David Guetta and the man behind Levels, Avicii himself — but if that isn’t enough, the hard working artist has also established himself as an equal among his seasoned and expert mentors by holding top-ten spots for lengthy periods of time.

Catapulted to international stardom with his release of remix of Green Velvet’s “Flash”, Nicky’s extensive catalog of endeavors continues to demonstrate his dedication to his craft.  With a string of over 30 releases in the last year alone, it should come as no surprise that the relentless Romero has affirmed the next advance in his career with the foundation of his own label, Protocol Recordings.  Subsequently following the supremacy of “Generation 303” and “Toulouse”, the first track, titled “WTF!?”, which debuted at Ultra this past March, is a collaboration with fellow Dutchman ZROQ set to be released May 28th.

Just as captivating and even more distinguished than each successive Romero track, “WTF!?” encompasses all the elements of trademark, harsh Dutch wobbles with the novelty of a completely new sound all together.  We’re sure that this track will follow suit in the likes of chart success, and, once again, blow up on dance floors as a global staple in all well crafted sets.  Congratulations to Nicky Romero on his new label project and his monstrous new track.
