Evidently, it wasn’t until the “EDM Revolution” swept through the states this past year that house music fans recognized that the first-ever American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, had the pipes for banging, big room house tracks. Her louder than life vocals are inexorably and undeniably flawless for two bone crushing, synth-shattering remixes.
Clarkson’s original track “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” comes to life in a whole new light when the growing household name, Dutch force, Nicky Romero speeds up the tempo, appending his filthy bass drops and trademark low wobbles to an already heavy track. To follow that up, brave Italian duo, new comers, Promise Land, also take a stab at “Stronger,” starting slow by focusing on Clarkson’s enormous voice and building up to an epic drop and grungy bass sequence that can be expected to tear up dance floors globally in the months to come.
Because it’s Valentines Day, and you’re probably sitting alone eating chocolates from your mom, we think Clarkson, Romero, and Promised Land can help ease the pain with these two MONSTER remixes now out on Beatport.
