This past week, Robotic Pirate Monkey (RPM) (Matt Berryhill, Andrew Hathaway, Matt Flesher) played a four-night Colorado run between Durango, Aspen, Ft. Collins, and Denver… having brought the HEAT every night before, the boys from Boulder got seriously hyped up to throw down at Cervantes.

With a stellar line-up of Pete Rodway, Bitch Please!, Gladkill, and Virtual Boy to open up for RPM, this show kept the crowd at Cervantes captivated with a plethora of electronic and bass-filled freshies.

Due to some technical difficulties with the UFO.Cam, we were only able to take pictures for about the first 10 minutes of RPM‘s set… regardless, we don’t need to show you a picture in order for you to understand the energy at their shows. Dropping some bangers (such as “Party Animal” and “Hellavator”) off their newest album, Colors in Disguise, the boys got the crowd BUMPING… later in the set, they kicked up one of the freshest remixes of “Make It Rain On ‘Em”, bringing the show to a state of pumped-up insanity, with sexy women flooding the dance floor from every direction. All in all, RPM‘s Cervantes show was the perfect demonstration of how Colorado does music.
